Pause and Allow Yourself to Bloom
This work is an invitation to inner silence. The kneeling figure, with her calm and attentive gaze, holds a small bird in her hands as if recognizing herself in something light, free, and alive.
The flowers in her hair, the roots flowing through her skirt, and the belt inspired by the colors of the Jequitinhonha Valley transform her into a guardian of the earth and of her own essence. While deeply connected to the ancestry of clay, she also opens herself gently to the present moment — as if whispering: “Do not rush. Breathe, and allow yourself to bloom in your own time.”
Pause and Let Yourself Bloom speaks of reconnection, beauty, and freedom. It is a sculpture that teaches without imposing, that listens before speaking, and that reminds us that sometimes all we need to do is pause in order to remember who we truly are.
